The Household Belfast curators invited five artists‘Exquisite Corpse’ in an empty shop

I spent two days with my father constructing two wooden frames used to house two large scale reproductions of family photographs. On the left, my mother gazes directly down the lens of an unknown fashion photographer. On the right, my father displays a feat of strength by lifting his eight-year-old son above his head with apparent ease. These two images, encapsulate two influential elements in the creation of my own gendered identity.

Within my practice I have negotiated various male dominated social groups, in an attempt to decipher the multiple definitions of masculinity. This is the first time I have attempted an introspective enquiry.

Got to or for more images.
